Isiolo Gender Watch (IGW) is Non-Governmental organisation established and operating in Isiolo County through participation in key networking activities. The main reason that led to the formation of IGW was the missing voice of women, youth and persons with disability in the issues affecting the communities within the County. The challenge causing this scenario was mainly cultural.
IGW was established in the year 2015 and is a member of the Isiolo CSO consortium. The organisation has initiated small scale advocacy activities targeting the decision makers attending public functions. It has been looking for opportunities to speak about its programmes. Isiolo Gender Watch (IGW) in itself is working with over five women groups that are a result of its activities.
